With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, Tammy champions sophisticated data analysis and customized solutions for The Henley Group’s clients. She brings deep expertise in evaluating and structuring complex real estate transactions for successful CMBS workouts. Tammy began her career on the institutional commercial lending side at Shawmut Bank and Trust where she developed a lifelong passion for analyzing private and public companies.

Tammy’s unrelenting drive and entrepreneurial spirit led her to a position at a start-up bank where she took on the simultaneous challenge of growing the bank’s asset base and reducing its troubled real estate portfolio. She became involved in the CMBS markets in its pioneering days, specializing in CMBS financing with powerhouses like CIBC, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Goldman Sachs as well as institutional equity sources.

Over the last decade as co-founder of The Henley Group, Tammy has been instrumental in delivering more than 100  robust loan restructuring proposals to LNR, Rialto, Midland, CW Capital, Wells Fargo, CIII, and Torchlight. Her unique ability to aggregate, synthesize and dissect complicated market data, leverage changing trends in Servicer resolution and bondholder positions, enables The Henley Group to develop innovative client resolutions that are often firsts in the industry.

Tammy holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she was a full scholarship athlete.

When she’s not steeped in analysis, Tammy is cheering on her favorite sports teams, participating in multiple ways to give back to the community, and proudly raising two spirited teenagers.
