The Henley Group has a very successful track record of working out CMBS loans with Special Servicers—in our experience the most fertile ground for resolution. We have represented borrowers and have relationships with all the major Special Servicers, including LNR, Walker and Dunlop (formerly CWCapital Asset Management), C – III Asset Management, Berkadia (formerly Capmark), Midland, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Torchlight, J.E. Robert, and Helios, as well as numerous class certificate holders.

We don’t limit ourselves to existing tools and tactics. Our solutions represent thinking that spans the spectrum from traditional to innovative.

One of the things about us that puts us head and shoulders above many of our competitors is that we are so plugged in to the CMBS world—we have extensive connections on Wall Street, colleagues at Special Servicers, and throughout the community. We often discover in the initial communication phase of a deal that we have former colleagues in various shops who know us, respect us, and work hard to make negotiations successful.
